Anti-Inflammatory Face Mask

Hi guys! Today I thought I would share this amazing face mask recipe with you..

Some time last week I woke up with a rash on the left side of my face and wasn’t sure what it was from but it was clear that my skin was irritated and needed some care! I am a huge fan of natural home remedies and I LOVE turmeric and it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I thought its time for a face mask! so I looked it up and I found this amazing simple 3 ingredient face mask which saved my day! This mask is anti-inflammatory so if you ever get allergy reactions or irritated skin like me, this might be the one for you 🙂

You will need:

  1. Turmeric powder
  2. yoghurt
  3. honey

Mix all 3 ingredients and place on you face until dry and then wash off! Don’t worry about looking yellow after, it DOES WASH OFF 🙂

I thought it might be cool for you guys know the benefits of each ingredient used here, so here you have it:

YoghurtThe lactic acid in yoghurt dissolves dead skin cells, exfoliates skin, and helps to decrease wrinkles, while the zinc takes care of acne. And it’s gentle and smooth enough that it won’t dry out your skin.
Honey: ...is basically your skin’s soulmate. it’s antibacterial, anti-acne, moisturising, super soothing, and anti-ageing.
And then there’s turmeric: Most of the spice’s benefits come from curcumin, which gives turmeric its gorgeous yellow color. Curcumin is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal. Translation? It helps with acne, anti-ageing, skin brightening, and inflammation.

Put the three of them together, and you have a soothing, brightening mask that prevents acne and wrinkles.

No need to stress about measurements here; I went with a heaping spoonful of yogurt and about a teaspoon of both turmeric and honey. Mix everything together to get that gorgeous yellow color.

& it does work! Test it yourself! 🙂

Hope you love this post as much as I do X
